Tourist center infrastructure

A major tourist center in a very large American city asked Float4 to modernize their facilities. In order to create a solid infrastructure to support the thousands of daily visitors, the team called on my expertise and Lima Charlie's.

We have put in place a solid infrastructure including:

• a CMS in 9 languages ​​and its API;
• a database for collecting and storing visitor journeys;
• an interface for viewing usage statistics;
• a microsite that generates online tourist routes for visitors;
• a connection to an external photo capture provider's API;
• the implementation of cloud services and their configuration.

The system is based on solid technologies, including Drupal 10 (for the CMS) and Node.js for the microsite.

Visitor choices are relayed in real time from a system to the other, for minimal delay in the visitor experience.
