Why create and optimize content for AI?
Just like in the early 2000s with search engines and later with Wikipedia, there are claims that AI will make all humans stupid and incapable of thinking. We are attempting to restrict their access to our content, just like we were disabling right-clicking on images in the past.
But sooner or later, this technology will be recognized for what it is: a tool to be harnessed rather than feared, as was the case with search engines and online encyclopedias.
Today, everyone is striving to be indexed by search engines (SEO). Tomorrow, everyone will want to be among the sources cited by artificial intelligence models and included in their responses. This SEO analogy even already has a name: Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
In other words, whether we fear it, love it, or prefer to ignore it, it's clear that artificial intelligence is here to stay, even if several parameters of its adoption remain to be defined. A disruptive, but inevitable, technology.
It's best to prepare for it today in order to benefit from it tomorrow.
